This work has allowed me to meet exceptional local artists as well. I would like you to meet a new local resident named Miché Fambro.
Miché, a former Philadelphian, is a professional musician residing in Owings, MD. A self-proclaimed "ordinary" guy, he has taken himself far from the ordinary, raring to go with new works, enthusiastically looking forward to a bright musical future. He is also someone making a difference in our community.
Miché decided he would like to do something for Twin Beach Players and asked me what he could do. Miché offered to celebrate the release of his newest CD "Café Vignettes" by performing a benefit concert to help Twin Beach Players "seed" a building fund to achieve our dream.
Twin Beach Players, now celebrating our 10th Anniversary Season, has long been dreaming of a permanent home. We are a non-profit community theater in Chesapeake Beach and North Beach, MD and continue to operate in various venues.
You will enjoy the freshness and melodic playfulness of an evening with Miché. The show will include solo pieces off his new CD, stories, jazz standards, and spontaneous outbursts of musical inspiration.
The concert will be held 7pm on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Black Box Theatre in the Union Church Education Building in North Beach, MD, with all profits going to launch the new Building Fund. Tickets are $20 (suggested minimum donation). You can get your tickets (limited seating) in advance by contacting me at (443) 624-1451 or buy them at the door.
You can hear Miché's music on his website at http://www.miche.com. Sign-up up on his mailing list, purchase or downloads songs and CDs or visit him at his "Let's Talk" link and let him know what you think of his music.
I am excited about our new Building Fund and grateful to Miché for helping us.
Thank you for your continued support of Arts and Culture in our community.
Sincerely,
Janine Naus
