Mother - Child Tea Party - 2008-05-18

Barstow Acres Children’s Center will host a Mother Child Tea Party on May 18, 2008 from
3:00 – 6:00 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Huntingtown, MD. The event will be a delightful afternoon of games, music, tea and refreshments with mom. There will be an opportunity to get a photograph with mom, or read her the poem you wrote just for her! All proceeds will support the programs provided by Barstow Acres Children’s Center, including individual, group and family therapy; social skills groups; parenting classes; therapeutic summer camp; and the Annual Parent Empowerment Conference.

Barstow Acres Children’s Center is a 501c3 non-profit counseling center and United Way member agency located at 590 Main Street in Prince Frederick, MD. Mental health and enrichment programs are provided in a home-like environment by competent and compassionate staff that are culturally diverse and client-centered. To date, over 1,000 children and families have been served.
