Theft of Registration Plate: On January 27, 2010 at 3:55 p.m., Sergeant Wobbleton received a call for theft in the 12000 block of Steven Lane in Dunkirk. Unknown suspect(s) removed the front registration plate while victim’s vehicle was parked in the driveway.

MDOP/Attempted Burglary: On January 27, 2010 at 8:04 p.m., Trooper Williams responded to the 8100 block of Bayview Hills Drive in Chesapeake Beach for a reported malicious destruction of property. Unknown suspect(s) damaged a window and door attempting to enter the residence.

 

Burglary: On January 27, 2010 at 8:14 p.m., Trooper Logsdon responded to the 10000 block of McQueen Road in Lusby for a reported burglary. Three TV’s and various gaming systems and related items were stolen from the victim’s residence. Detectives identified Jeffrey T. Phelps, 20 of Lusby as the suspect and served him with an arrest warrant and a search warrant for his home and vehicle. Phelps was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

Burglary: On January 28, 2010 at 3:02 p.m., Trooper First Class Merkelson responded to the 5700 block of Highland Lane in Sunderland for a reported burglary and theft. The home was entered and a 5 gallon water bottle filled with change was stolen.

Theft from vehicle: On January 29, 2010 at 8:30 p.m., Trooper First Class Dawson responded to the 1900 block of Owensville Court in Dunkirk for a reported theft. Unknown suspect(s) removed two twelve gauge shotguns from the victim’s vehicle.
