During the week of February 14 through February 21, deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1,747 calls for service throughout the community. Additionally, deputies arrested 5 people and charged them with DWI/DUI during the week.

Theft 10-11668
On February 19 at 1:45 p.m. Cpl. Todd Smith responded to the parking lot of the Market Square Shopping Center located on Costley Way in Prince Frederick near the Mama Lucia Restaurant. The victim advised that between 1:15 p.m. and 1:42 p.m. unknown suspect(s) had taken a 2010 Toro red Snow Blower, model #8280XE valued at $1800 from the bed of her truck. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cpl. Smith at the Sheriff’s Office at 410-535-2800.
Disorderly Conduct 10-11764
Dep. Roscoe Kreps responded to Houlihan’s Bar and Grill located at 135 W Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick on February 19 at 10:11 p.m. in reference to a fraud. While speaking with the victim and the suspect, a woman, later identified as Angela Renai Brubaker, 37 of Prince Frederick, advised Dep. Kreps that the suspect did not have anything to do with the fraud. Brubaker was advised by Kreps that he was conducting an investigation and for her to go back inside the establishment. Brubaker started to yell and use profanity. She was advised to stop but did not. While attempting to place her under arrest, she resisted, flung her arms around and fell onto the ground. She was subdued and placed in handcuffs and placed under arrest. She was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest
CDS Violation 10-11767
DFC James Morgan conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the Lusby Center located at 210 Village Center Drive on February 19 at 10:00 p.m. The driver, later identified as Jason Harley Royster, 21 of Waldorf, was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Burglary 10-11909
DFC Aaron Locke responded to a home on H.G. Trueman Road in Lusby on February 20 for a burglary report. The victim advised that sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. that day unknown suspect(s) had gained entry to the home and stolen almost $2000 worth of property. A Sanyo 31.5 inch LCD television, a Vizio 22 inch LCD TV and a Toshiba laptop were all taken. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lt. Steve Jones of the C.I.T. at 410-535-2800 ext. 2462.
Disorderly Conduct 10-11976
Police were called to the Greene Turtle Restaurant in Prince Frederick on February 21 at 1:13 a.m. for a disturbance. After arriving, DFC Richard Weems made contact with the manager who advised that he had told a patron to leave the establishment after it was discovered he had brought alcoholic beverages into the restaurant. DFC Weems approached the patron, who became belligerent and started cursing and hollering. He was advised to cease but did not. Weems arrested Joseph Earl Fisher, 32 of Prince Frederick, and charged him with disorderly conduct and failure to obey a law enforcement officer.
