The CCPS Superintendent's Office has been notified by law enforcement that there has been a robbery at the BB & T Bank in the Dunkirk Shopping Center.
They are currently consulting with law enforcement and have placed Northern Middle, Northern High, Mt. Harmony Elementary, Huntingtown High and Sunderland Elementary Schools on heightened alert.
CCPS announced, "We will continue to work with law enforcement to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and visitors to our schools. More information will be provided as we receive it."
