Burglary: On July 2, 2010 at 2:30 p.m., Trooper West responded to the 4100 block of Leitches Wharf Rd. in Prince Frederick in reference to a burglary. A shed was broken into and scrap metal items were stolen. Investigation continues.

Theft: On July 3, 2010 at 10:10 p.m., Trooper First Class Saucerman responded to Vera’s Restaurant in White Sands for a reported theft. A customer had walked out of the establishment without paying the bill. Investigation continues.

Disorderly Conduct: On July 4, 2010 at 1:05 a.m., Trooper First Class Dawson responded to Trader’s Restaurant in Chesapeake Beach in response to fight. During the investigation, a crowd had gathered in the parking lot. A vehicle drove by the scene and the passenger, Brandon M. James, 21 of Huntingtown, was hanging out of the passenger’s side window of the vehicle yelling profanities at the officers. The vehicle was stopped and James was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

Possession of Marijuana: On July 5, 2010 at 7:05 p.m., Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations in the parking lot of McDonald’s in Dunkirk. An odor of Marijuana was detected during the stop and a search revealed Marijuana in the vehicle. Tyler Brooks, 20 of Lothian, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
