PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – April 24, 2008 – A mother-daughter team with a flair for the nautical have opened shop in Dunkirk, bringing a touch of the beach to Calvert County. Shore LIVING, opened this month, is a retail home décor shop owned by Eleanor and Elissa Shifflett that features a host of accessories and personal care products including linens, furniture, gourmet foods, gift items and artwork.

 

Eleanor and Elissa share all the responsibilities and daily demands of running the store but also share the reward of being able to work together to create an upscale business in the County. “We use our talents to inspire our customers to find their style, enhance their lives or change their home fashions,� says Eleanor. “This store really is a labor of love for Elissa and me and we are so excited to be sharing our decorating and gift ideas with our community.�
